The summer school, which takes place at Örebro University, provides an excellent opportunity to learn more about time series analysis. It is suitable for researchers, PhD students, methodologists at Statistics Sweden and elsewhere, as well as end-users of statistical information. The summer school opens August 9 at 1 pm and ends August 11 at noon.
The conference fee is SEK 3,000 excl. VAT. Full-time PhD students pay a reduced fee of SEK 1,000, excl. VAT. One lunch and a conference dinner are included in the fee, but accommodation is not. Participants must bring their own laptops to the school and in advance download freely available software from the internet.

In connection to the summer school, the first GRAPES workshop is arranged on August 11 – 12. The purpose of the workshop is to provide graduate students the opportunity to present and discuss their work. Invited speaker is Sir David F. Hendry, professor of economics, University of Oxford.
The workshop is open to graduate students in all areas of statistics as well as graduate students in other areas who are working on statistical issues. More information on the workshop is found on http://grapestat.se/ .
