Equality

Örebro University strives at providing an equal work place and study environment. This means that everyone should have the same possibilities and rights to develop and influence their work or study environment irrespective of gender. Fundamentally, it is about creating fair work and study conditions which contribute to raising the university’s quality.

Equality council

The equality council acts as a guide and advisor in equality issues at Örebro University, and is responsible for the documentation of a central equality plan. The council also follows up and evaluates the equality work at. The council’s chairperson also runs an equality network which consists of representatives from different organisational units at the university.
