You have to make sure that you are covered by some kind of health insurance before leaving your home country. Healthcare in Sweden is very expensive if you are not covered by any insurance. If your spouse/cohabitant and/or children accompany you to Sweden, they too need to make sure that they have some kind of healthcare coverage in Sweden.
