During 2009 and 2010 all research at Örebro University will be evaluated. Örebro Research Evaluation – ÖRE2010 – forms part of the work at Örebro University to improve quality and its primary goal is to identify the university’s most prominent research environments.
The research evaluation consists of the following three parts
Research presentation and self assessment
This part consists of an internal presentation of the actual research activities and production at the university by research groups/research projects. The present situation is in focus and the information includes the production for the years 2006 to 2009.
Peer-review process by external expertise
Seven expert panels assess the quality of the research at one or more units of assessment. The quality and the development potential of the scientific production should relate to the corresponding research area both on an international and a national level.
Bibliometric study
A bibliometric study is conducted as a separate complement to the self assessment and the expert panel's peer-review.
