Blackboard is a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It is an electronic tool which can be accessed by computers both on and off campus.
Blackboard is used by faculty to pulish course material and course related information to students. It enables faculty and students to communicate and collaborate online through real-time chat forums, asynchronous discussion boards and a mail- function.
