Unless the university prescribes another grading system, one of the following grades is usually used: fail, pass or pass with distinction. At Örebro University the vice-chancellor can decide upon another grading system.
- The grading system of each course is to be clearly specified in the course syllabus. The grades for each module are to be clearly specified in the course syllabus if a course consists of several exam modules.
- If you have been awarded the pass grade for an exam at Örebro University you do not have the right to repeat the exam to increase your grade.
- Each course has assessment criteria. The assessment criteria are to be specified for the students and state what the student needs to acquire to be awarded a specific grade.
