Cookies and javascripts

Örebro University's website and several of our web-based systems uses:

1. Session cookies during the whole session.
2. Cookies for generating visitor statistics.

Temporary cookies, so called session cookies, are only saved temporarily on your computer and are automatically erased when you close your web browser. If these cookies are not allowed, we cannot guarantee that our web site will function correctly, because the cookies are necessary for different functions in our system. If your browser is set to not accept cookies, you can change the security settings in the browser. How this is done varies depending on what browser you use.

On our website and in several of our web-based systems, such as Studentforum, javascripts are used. These are used for example to place the cursor in the appropriate field in a search form, verifying that certain fields are filled or open dialog boxes. In order to use our site and our web-based system in the best way you need to have javascripts enabled.
