Requesting stack items
Some material is stored in the library's stacks. The material needs to be ordered before you can access it.
The Main Library
Books and other materials stored in the basement stacks at the Main Library library can be retrieved for patrons on request by the library staff. Patrons make requests using Primo. Material is retrieved from the stacks once a day, Monday-Friday. Items that have been requested before 10.15 a.m., Monday to Friday, will be available to pick up from the reservation shelf at the Main Library after 1 p.m. Reservations must be picked up within four days.
Items that are part of the Karolinska skolan book collection, the law stacks (jurmag), or other special collections are also requested via Primo. Please note! Items from the Mörner collection and K-G Wall's Library are retrieved from the stacks within three working days. Items from other collections are retrieved by us within 24 hours.
The Medical Library
You can order books from the Main Library stacks and pick them up at the Medical Library. Journals from the Main Library cannot be ordered. For materials stored in the stacks at the Medical Library, please contact the staff at the Medical Library's information desk.
The School of Hospitality, Culinary Arts and Meal Science Library
