Center for Developmental Research (CDR)

The Center is co-directed by Håkan Stattin and Margaret Kerr. At any given time, the research group includes around 20-25 doctoral students, postdocs, guest researchers, and permanent senior researchers. We specialize in longitudinal studies, and most of the research conducted at the Center involves longitudinal databases that have been built up within the Center. Prevention and intervention are a growing focus at the Center, as well. We have much international collaboration. Currently, we are working on empirical studies, jointly funded projects, and new grant applications with researchers in the United States, Canada, the Czech Republic, England, Finland, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, and Turkey. Our funding is from Swedish and European sources.
