About Davood Khodadad

I received my B.S and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (Bioelectronics) from Sahand University of Technology, Tabriz, and Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, in 2008 and 2011, respectively. I presented my PhD thesis in 2016 at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden, where I focused on the development of multispectral and dual-polarization Digital Holography for three-dimensional imaging. I moved to the Waves, Signals and Systems research group at Linnaeus University to focus on the development of Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) and Diffusion-based Optical Tomography during the years 2016-2018. Currently, I am active as an Associate Senior Lecturer in the School of Science and Technology at Örebro University. We work on X-ray tomographic (CT) methods for improved image quality and application of CT to internal structures and strength in complex products as well as to non-destructive methods for verification of eg. additively manufactured (AM) products.

My research interests include non-destructive testing (NDT), optical metrology, computed tomography, imaging and image formation, signal and image processing.
