About Ilias Thomas
Ilias is a post-doctoral research fellow at Örebro University in the systems medicine group and a Senior Lecturer at Dalarna University in data and information management.
He holds a PhD in data analysis from Dalarna University (2019), where the focus of his thesis was on automating dosing schedules for Parkinson's disease. He previously studied mathematics (BSc, Aristotle University 2011) and Mathematical statistics (MSc, Stockholm University 2015).
Ilias' main research interests are in data mining and statistical analysis of biomedical data. At Örebro University he is working with blood-based metabolomic data to predict severity and patient outcomes in traumatic brain injury.
