About Joachim Åström

Joachim Åström is Professor of Political Science, Vice Dean of the Faculty Board of Humanities and Social Sciences, and researcher leader at the Center for Democratic Government in Change. His research is focused on information technology and politics, in relation to citizen participation, political representation, public administration and governance. Main areas in teaching relates to Swedish and comparative politics, research methods and thesis supervision.
