Research environments
This research group focuses on subject didactic research related to school physical education. In this research, issues of embodiment, health, touching, outdoor education, assessment, intersectionalities, governing processes as well as issues related to physical education practice and the use of exergames are prominent. The group has its focus on processes of teaching, meaning making, communication, learning and socialization. Key aspects that can be distinguished among these processes are preconditions, form, content and consequences. Studies are directed specifically toward how children and students create meaning based on individual, social and institutional perspectives.
