The aim is to contribute knowledge on child and youth soccer games as an educational environment with a focus on coaches and parents behavior. The two year long project analyzes coach and parent behavior within ongoing games trying to understand the game as an educational practice in fostering children and young people (girls and boys) to be morally good players and citizens. What characterises coaches and parents educational behavior? Which kind of soccer players and citizens is educated within the soccer game? Research is conducted through qualitative observation of games, player and referee interviews and a survey including parents, players and coaches in three soccer clubs in the west of Sweden.
