A multidisciplinary research and innovation centre focusing on diabetes endocrinology and metabolism has been formed at the Örebro University in 2016.
The research is primarily focused to study interactions between health-physical activity-obesity-diet-glucose control-metabolism-diabetes-endocrinology-epidemiology-prevention with a special focus on different types of diabetes where there is a current need to improve diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
