In my position as a lecturer inspired me nurses, midwives and child health nurses in method training courses and in their writing of design with me as a tutor to take hold of interesting issues in health care, in order to influence and develop care for the better, with the patient in focus. Many of these students went on empirical studies including interviews with different groups of patients and staff. An interview study was to increase knowledge about patients' experiences of being a low priority in the emergency department (Dahlen I, Westin L, & Adolfsson A, 2012). Another was interviews with mothers about their expectations of the BVC nurse at the first home visit (Wilsson M & Adolfsson A, 2011a). In this study it will produce gaps in care from their experiences when they received home visits at previous deliveries (Wilsson M & Adolfsson A, 2011b). Couples who participate in the MVC's parent have been studied through written stories (Norling-Gustafsson A, Skagersten K & Adolfsson A, 2011). Another qualitative method used by child health center nurses when they interview of nurses on how the BVC in normal controls may serve as models for new parents in the relationship between infants and parents (Johansson A-M, Landahl I, & Adolfsson A, 2011). Finally, interviews were conducted with midwives, antenatal and childbirth. How midwives can affect the care given at MVC and childbirth, it turned out that the midwife uses her intuitive knowledge to identify and respond appropriately to deviations from the normal (Olsson A. & Adolfsson A, 2011).
