Research environments

Staff in home- and healthcare work in an unsafe and inappropriate working environment. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, extensive and advanced interventions are being made in ordinary housing, which places additional demands on the residents, staff and the working environment. However, it is unclear to what extent and how the staff handles advice and guidelines for basic hygiene when they provide interventions in ordinary housing.

The aim of the project is in-depth knowledge of how the ordinary housing works as a physical workplace for staff in home- and healthcare who provide interventions during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The study has a qualitative approach and the staff's experiences and perceptions of implementing home- and healthcare services in ordinary housing under the influence of the Covid 19 pandemic will be collected by telephone interviews. The project will generate a investigation of the working environment, information about the interventions  that are given, but also the staff's stories about their everyday work in ordinary housing regarding guidelines and recommendations in the Covid-19 pandemic.
