Attitudes to people with disabilities and interventions to influence attitudes

The project aims to conduct a systematic review regarding attitudes towards people with disabilities and interventions to influence attitudes . The report forms the basis of the Swedish agency for participation (MFD ) efforts to develop knowledge in -built strategies for long-term awareness in the community and create conditions for all, regardless of ability to function, to be able to participate equally in society. A literature search of relevant databases was conducted in August 2015 and resulted in 19 recent review articles of high enough scientific quality based on 774 original studies . The main conclusions to be drawn from the studies is that despite the public's factual knowledge has increased markedly, the attitude barrier remains.
