In order to provide newborn infants with correct pain alleviation there is a need for reliable and easy-to-use tools to assess the pain. We are comparing Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) and Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) with Premature Infant Profile-Revised (PIPP-R). The research group has experience with all the methods but they have never been compared to each other before.
