About this project
The project investigates in a first phase students in upper secondary schools' experiences of special needs support. Students from the last year in vocational as well as academic programmes are interviewed in order to give their perspective on special needs support. Mapping and describing special needs are common practises in schools, however students' own perspectives on the support they are given rarely figures. It is therefore an important area to investigate. As a second phase in the project, group interviews with the schools' staff, including their healthcare teams, are planned in order to investigate their experiences of students' special needs and their perspective on inclusion.
