Ongoing research project aimed at genetic mapping of Usher Syndrome, early diagnosis through clinical genetic examinations and gene therapy, oriented towards both the eye and ear. Studies of hearing and visual development in a life perspective. Studies of cognitive functions in children and adults with Usher Syndrome. Studies of psychosocial consequences, anxiety and depression in adults with Usher Syndrome.
