Research Subject

This project is run from the unit of family medicine at Uppsala University and aims to study sick-listing and participation in the sick-listing process from the perspectives of both patients and family doctors.  Sixteen long-term sick-listed patients have been interviewed. So far the analysis show that the patients feel that their autonomy is lost while being sick-listed.  Five focus groups interviews with family doctors form different parts of Sweden have been conducted. The analysis is ongoing.
