Research subject

This project is done in collaboration with Uppsala University and aims to investigate how aspects of gender, class, ethnicity and age intersect in telenursing encounters, by using theories of gender and intersectionality.  Furthermore, to develop and instrument to measure gender competence and test it in an intervention for telenurses. So far we have found that mostly Swedish born, middle-aged women use the telenursing service, while male callers more often get a doctors' appointment as outcome of the call.
