The LISAN research group has evolved from studies of the life situation for children and adolescents with narcolepsy as a result of vaccination with Pandemrix®. The research group involves expertise on studies on quality-of-life and well-being; studies with children and families; clinical knowledge of children with narcolepsy; and research on media and social networks. This collaboration enables the construction of a body of knowledge in regards to the life-situation for these children and young persons. The study also comprises the impact of a chronical disease, in short and long perspectives, and how trust in health care affects adherence to health recommendations.
The research team is managed by Professors Karin Blomberg and Mats Eriksson.
