About this team
The research group studies science teaching in preschool, primary and middle school. The focus is on teachers’ work in developing and implementing teaching, and how teaching can affect children and students' opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in and about science. The group works mainly with practical methods inspired by design-based research where participating teachers are involved in the research process.
The group is currently working on three projects:
- Bridges for science: continuity in transitions between preschool, preschool class and grades 1-3.
- Draw to learn and learn to draw in primary school NO teaching.
- Continuity, progression and wonder in elementary school science teaching
