AI and health offers a meeting forum with researchers working to strengthen healthcare and improve public health through the use of artificial intelligence. Meet and talk with researchers in an exhibition showcasing ongoing projects from Örebro University and/or Örebro University Hospital (USÖ).

A research exhibition (posters) featuring research at the intersection of AI and health/life science. Meet the researchers in an informal setting that encourages dialogue and knowledge exchange. (Visual Lab )

Talk 1: Artificiell intelligens i psykiatrisk forskning – från ostrukturerad journaldata till individanpassad vård
Psykiatrisk forskning har stor nytta av registerdata och journaler, men mycket information är ostrukturerad och svår att analysera. I presentationen visas hur AI, särskilt stora språkmodeller, kan användas för att strukturera journaltexter och kombinera dem med nationella register. Syftet är att utveckla modeller för diagnostik, prognos och behandling inom tillstånd som ångest, depression, ADHD och autism, för att stärka beslutsstöd och individanpassad vård.

Talk 2: Artificial intelligence in psychiatric research – from unstructured clinical text to precision models of mental health
Psychiatric research increasingly draws on large register data and electronic health records, yet much clinical information remains unstructured. This presentation shows how AI, particularly large language models, can extract and structure clinical text. These data are combined with register linkages to build machine-learning models for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment response, focusing on anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism to support prevention, clinical decision-making, and personalised care.
