A neural network.

“Human–AI teaming” brings together researchers to discuss how AI workflows, multi-agent systems, and teams of autonomous agents are being developed and used in complex environments. Through talks, panel discussions, and joint reflections, both technical challenges and opportunities are explored — from coordination and decision-making to human–AI teaming.

Maria Riveiro

Maria Riveiro is a professor of computer science at the Department of Computer Science and Informatics in the School of Engineering at Jönköping University, where she leads the Human-Centered Technology Group.

Her main research interests are human-centered AI, explainable AI, and visual analytics. She has worked on designing, developing, and evaluating technologies that make our lives easier and better, with people in mind. Prof. Riveiro is the recipient of a starting and consolidator grant from the Swedish Research Council to investigate how to tailor AI system explanations to users’ expectations and how to evaluate explainable AI systems.

Jonas Lundberg.

Jonas Lundberg

Jonas Lundberg is a professor of human-centred design at Linköping University (LiU), Sweden, working in the Department of Science and Technology (ITN) and the Media and Information Technology (MIT) programme. He holds a PhD in Computer Science (2005) from LiU.

His research focuses on human-automation/AI interaction in mission-critical systems (e.g., air traffic management, maritime traffic, unmanned traffic, and crisis/emergency response).
