DeLiS launches – the first step towards a deeptech platform for food innovation
The Deeptech and Food in Collaboration (DeLiS) project aims to accelerate the transformation of research results into sustainable innovations, new business models, and future companies within the food sector.
By bringing together research in deeptech and food, DeLiS creates new opportunities to develop the sustainable food systems of tomorrow.
The initiative is a collaboration between SLU Holding AB, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Örebro University, Örebro University Holding, and Uppsala Innovation Centre (UIC).
A key focus of the project is the commercialization of research results from PAN Sweden, a research centre that advances knowledge about how plant-based proteins and foods affect human health, as well as how they can be produced in the most efficient and sustainable way. 🌱
DeLiS is funded with SEK 9 million by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket) through the European Regional Development Fund for Eastern Central Sweden, Formas, and Region Uppsala.
