Course content

The course includes:

  • Comparison of systems development methods theories. In this module the research student will compare the structure of various systems development methods theories;
  • Explanation of different principles for the adaptation of systems development methods. In this module the research student will compare various principles for the adaptation of the systems development methods;
  • Analysation of the use of systems development methods in practice. In this module the research student will analyse a practical situation where systems development methods are applied.

Intended course learning outcomes

To obtain a passing grade, the doctoral student shall demonstrate:

  1. Ability to describe and compare the basis for systems development methods theories.
  2. Ability to analyse system development methods with the help of systems development methods theories.
  3. Ability to select theories for analysis of the basis for systems development methods.
