The course is part of the courses offered within the Swedish Institute for Disability Research (SIDR) doctoral studies and is compulsory for doctoral and licentiate admitted at SIDR.

  • System theory
  • Intersectionality
  • Methodological problems in interdisciplinary research
  • Disability science possibilities and limitations
  • Disability role of science in society
  • People's responsibility for how research is used

Teaching formats

Literature studies, lectures, seminars and oral and written presentations. The course is based on the participants' active participation in seminars.

Teaching is mainly in English, but lectures in Swedish may occur.
