Course content

The aim of the course is to extend basic knowledge and evaluate current research about evidence-based impacts of dietary patterns and physical activity behaviours on metabolic health. The course also covers major determinants of dietary patterns as well as state-of-the-art assessment methods of physical activity and dietary patterns. Participants in the course will have the opportunity to outline a project plan designed to promote physical activity and healthy dietary habits.

Course information

The course language is English.

The course is held between November 7th to January 15th, with two periods of teaching: November 7th-11th and December 5th - 9th. The course final examinations will be held in the last week of the course (January 15th). Lectures, and seminars are held both on-site and digitally-based.

Admission

The course is open to doctoral students at Örebro University and at other Universities as well as researchers who want to gain further insights into diet, physical activity and metabolic health. Admission is subject to availability and participants in the European research project “EURODIET” are given priority during autumn 2022.
