Information about ISBN and ISSN numbers

The ISBN and ISSN numbers should be entered in the A template.

ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is a unique number given to the individual publication. To obtain it, you need to send an email to This is an email address, and state your name, the title of your thesis and which series your thesis is a part of (Örebro Studies in …). You can also request to have the ISBN number entered when you submit your files for printing.

ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) is the unique number of a publication series and is only given to series that were created before 1 July 2008. If you are unsure of the number of the series in question you can find it via Libris (search on the name of the series). You can also look at another thesis published previously in the same series.
