General Scientific Methods in Medical Science, 15 credits - Autumn semester

Course content

The overall aim of the course is to give a broad overview of different topics used in medical research, like scientific writing and research communication, research ethics, study design and epidemiology, quantitative and qualitative research methods and philosophy of science.

The course is mandatory for doctoral students in Medical Science and runs twice a year.

Admission requirements

To gain access to the course and complete the examinations included in the course, the applicant must be admitted to doctoral education at Örebro University. Applicants enrolled at another university may participate in availability.
