Artificial Intelligence for the Web, 6 Credits
The World Wide Web contains an enormous amount of information distributed over a lot of sites, and to efficiently find the information one is looking for, one needs search engines. Many billions of web searches are done every day. This course reveals the algorithms behind these engines, including how to search through data and rank the findings, and how to collect and prepare data. It also addresses legal and ethical aspects of information search.
