Comparative Constitutional Law, 7,5 Credits
The course aims to create understanding for basic constitutional concepts (constitution, judicial review, federalism, etc.), principles (such as the rule of law and separation of powers) and fundamental rights and freedoms, which are discussed from a comparative perspective. During the course, students analyse the most important differences between different models within the Western legal tradition, and their relation to the broader legal culture.
