Computer Science, Multi-Agent Systems, Second Cycle, 7,5 Credits
The goal of the course is to provide knowledge and understanding about the fundamental concepts of multi-agent systems and to reinforce those theoretical concepts through practical problem solving. Coordination of autonomous entities - such as robots, software agents or humans - forms the central topic. Practical relevance is shown based on examples of robot teams, agent-based simulation models and other applications.
Assessment: Project reports and a written exam.

When is the course offered?
Prerequisites: First-cycle degree of 180 credits, with Computer Science as the main field of study, and at least 15 credits in mathematics (analysis and algebra). The applicant must also have qualifications corresponding to the course "English 6" or "English B" from the Swedish Upper Secondary School.
