Musical Interpretation I, Second Cycle, 30 Credits

The course is designed to develop students' artistic depth and width for a professional activity as a musician/singer in the field of classical music. The studies are largely designed individually and include instrument/vocal, chamber music, musical and stage communication and preparation for an artistic project in the field of musical interpretation.
We welcome students of all traditional orchestral instruments * and saxophone, piano, guitar and vocals. * percussion only with the focus of marimba and vibraphone

When is the course offered?

Prerequisites: A Degree of Bachelor in Music or a Degree of Master in Education in Music. In addition the student will be required to pass an entrance test. If the student has a Degree of Master in Music no entrance test will be necessary. The applicant must also have qualifications corresponding to the course "English 6" or "English B" from the Swedish Upper Secondary School.

Assessment will be in the form of assignments during the course, at public performances and a written assignment.
