Farewell Ceremony 2024
Are you a Master's student currently on your last semester of your international master's programme, with the intention to graduate this summer? Then you are more than welcome to attend our Farewell Ceremony of 2024!

Where: Campus Almby, lecture hall L1
Every year, at the end of the spring semester, the International Office organise a Farewell Ceremony for our Master's graduates. This year's farewell ceremony will be held on Friday May 31st at 15:00 (Campus Almby, lecture hall L1). Please note that this ceremony is for both Swedish and international graduates of our international Master's programmes and will therefore be held in English.
Programme
The ceremony will take approx. 1 hour and includes some speeches, a music performance, photo slide show and the graduates will be called forward to receive a farewell gift. Afterwards we will invite everyone for some lighter refreshments, where you will be able to mingle and take photos with your friends, family and fellow graduates. We will also be joined by SmartMove Örebro, in case you have any questions about your future career and opportunities in Sweden after your studies.
Guests
You are welcome to bring up to two guests to the ceremony and the mingle afterwards. Additional guests can be put on a waiting list. About a week after the registration has passed and the number of participants has been set, we will inform you with the potential possibility of bringing additional guests.
Diploma
All Master's students attending the farewell ceremony will receive a certificate as a reminder of their time here at Örebro University. Please note that this certificate is not a formal proof of your degree, but more of symbolic value. More information on how to receive your official degree can be found here.
