Tuition Fees at Örebro University

Information about the tuition fee for each program is found in the program information page.

The tuition fee must be paid per semester in advance. The first semester must be paid for before the studies begin. After the notification of selection results, applicants who has been admitted to a programme at Örebro University will receive an invoice for the tuition fee for the first semester. The invoice will be sent with e-mail to the e-mail address used when applying.

If a scholarship has been granted, the amount awarded will be deducted from the invoice accordingly.

Once the tuition fee for the first semester has been paid, an application for a residence permit can be made through the Swedish Migration Agency. When an admitted student has paid the tuition fee to Örebro University information about this will automatically be sent to the Swedish Migration Agency.

A student required to pay tuition fees may complete a course or a degree programme without paying a tuition fee if the course or degree programme was commenced before 1 July 2011. If the studies are not completed by 31 December 2018, however, tuition fees are to be paid for the subsequent period.
