Visit to Alfred Nobels house in Karlskoga

The Nobelmuseum in Karlskoga is a museum about the inventor, entrepreneur, donator and founder of the Nobel Prize, Alfred Nobel.  In Karlskoga, at the Björkborn Manor, Alfred Nobel lived during the summer periods of his last years in life. Alfred Nobel built a laboratory in the vicinity of the manor, where powder trials and experiments with artificial rubber and synthetic threads were carried out.

The laboratory still exists and is today containing an exhibition of Nobel’s experimental activities and enterprise. The manor contains exhibitions about the person Alfred Nobel.
