According to chapter 10 of the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100), disciplinary measures may be taken against four different types of misconduct. These are: 1) If students by prohibited aids or other means attempt to deceive during examinations or when academic work is otherwise assessed; 2) If students disrupt or obstruct teaching, tests or other activities within the framework of studies at the higher education institution; 3) If students disrupt activities in the library of the higher education institution or other separate facilities at the institution; 4) If students subject another student or employee to harassment. Significantly, it is always the specific circumstances of each case that should be assessed.
