Understanding Sweden - Information session for international employees and their spouses

What is Swedishness? How do Swedish people function and how can you avoid culture clashes? Are the Swedes open and generous or more personal and quiet? How important is equality in Sweden and where can I get to know Swedes?

Örebro University is part of the EURAXESS TOP IV Task 3.1: Dual Career Services for the partners of mobile researchers. The project task focuses on developing and improving dual career services and activities. Örebro University is paired up with Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology in Finland and together we aim to improve the services that we provide to researchers and their families.

As part of the EURAXESS TOP IV Dual Career Project we invite you to join us in this interesting Swedish afternoon, we will meet for approximately two hours.

12 March at 4.30 p.m. in Ljuspunkten (second floor in Långhuset)

Both employees and spouses are welcome. Arts and crafts will be available for children. Snacks will be served, please note any dietary requirements in the registration form below.

This event is a collaboration between HR, the International Office and the Equality and Diversity Developer. Sofie Sjöberg, International Student Assistant, and Katarina Bååth, Equality and Diversity Developer will be hosting the presentation.
