Effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals – studies in human cell models
Eewa Nånberg is a professor in Biomedical Laboratory Science. Her main research is the effects of hormone-disrupting chemicals on our immune system and nervous system. She joined Örebro university in 2018 and is currently at the School of Health Sciences. Her work combines exposure studies in humans (SELMA study) with experimental models such as neuroblastoma cells to unravel potential neurotoxic effects of phthalates and other hormone-disrupting chemicals.
