Rhetoricians are using every appropriate opportunity to deliver purposeful, ethical language promoting human rights, social justice, and coalitions across differences. Many of them - despite all the evidence to the contrary - are embracing hope as they create new possibilities, engage in heroic actions against the odds, and fashion their (hoped-for) future.

In this presentation, Cheryl Glenn will demonstrate how an emphasis on hope can anchor their communications, energize their negotiations, and help them prepare the next generation of rhetorically empowered scholars, teachers, and citizens.

Föreläsningen hålls på engelska.

Välkommen, fri entré!
