Om Anita Hurtig-Wennlöf

Anita Hurtig-Wennlöf är legitimerad biomedicinsk analytiker inriktning klinisk fysiologi. Medicine doktorsexamen erhölls från Karolinska institutet med avhandlingen Cardiovascular risk factors in children(2005). Hon är docent i medicinsk vetenskap, inriktning medicin och biträdande professor vid Örebro universitet.

Undervisning

Undervisningen ägnas främst till studenter inom biomedicinsk laboratorievetenskap på Biomedicinska analytikerprogrammet inriktning fysiologi, men även till studenter på avancerad- och forskarutbildningsnivå.

Forskning

Forskningen har fortsatt inom riskfaktorer för hjärt- och kärlsjukdom med särskilt fokus på den fysiska aktivitetens roll i riskreduktionen för framtida sjukdom. För närvarande leder hon den AFA-finansierade forskningsstudien Livsstil, biomarkörer och ateroskleros (LBA-studien) där unga personer lämnar blodprover och deltar i undersökningar av blodkärl med hjälp av ultraljud och kartläggning av fysisk aktivitet m.m.

Uppdrag

Anita Hurtig-Wennlöf är programansvarig för masterprogrammet Metoder inom medicinsk diagnostik (120 poäng på avancerad nivå).
