Om Hung Tran
Hung Tran received his Master Degree (2016) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Leuven, Belgium. His dissertation was about characterization of a neuronal protein UNC79, which can induce membrane curvature and determine neuronal excitability.
Hung Tran is doing his doctoral study at the Molecular Flavivirus research group, iRiSC, Örebro University. His research focuses on identification and characterization of interactions between Flaviviruses (Langat, Kunjin, and Zika viruses) proteins and the host cell proteins using either viruses or replicons. He also develops vaccine platforms based on the Flavivirus replicon virus-like particles.
