Om Mikael Quennerstedt

Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy
Mikael Quennerstedt är professor i idrottsvetenskap med inriktning didaktik vid Örebro universitet. Hans forskning handlar om undervisningsinnehåll, lärandeinnehåll och styrningsprocesser i relation till skolämnet idrott och hälsa, hälsoundervisning samt hur frågor om hälsa påverkar utbildning i mer generell mening. Quennerstedt bedriver sin forskning inom forskningsgruppen SMED - Studies of Meaning making in Educational Discourses. SMED bedriver teori- och metodutveckling inom didaktik- och utbildningsforskning. Gruppen tar en utgångspunkt i såväl lärandeforskning som läroplansteoretisk forskning för att analysera meningsskapande i olika utbildningsdiskurser. Utifrån det görs analyser av utbildning, både av inspelad praktik i olika undervisningssammanhang samt av texter om utbildning.
