Access Elsevier articles via Get It Now

The service Get It Now gives university staff an option to order articles published in Elsevier journal.

You can reach Get It Now from our discovery tool Primo, or through the Elsevier website and from many other databases. Use your email address when you order and you will get the article delivered directly to your email as a PDF file. The article will often be delivered within 8 hours (normal delivery time is 2 hours). If the order needs to be manually filled, it may take longer, especially on weekends. You can order up to 5 articles a day. The fees are covered by the library.

The PDF file can be accessed for 120 days and printed twice. It is not permitted to share either the PDF file or the printed article to anyone.

The service works for most Elsevier journals, but not for ”online first” articles published on the publisher's website. The library is working on making it work for all articles published after July 1. If you come across an article that you cannot access this way, then please contact the library [länk till e-post This is an email address] for help.

If you are a student you cannot use the Get It Now service. You need to order Elsevier articles via the interlibrary order form at a cost of SEK 50 each.
