Mattias Persson, Ph. D. in Economics and coordinator of Open Science, and Claes Karlsson, Electronic Resources Librarian at Örebro University Library, lectures and answers your questions on open access.
Open science is not just open access to publications, but also to open data. How can data be made available for everyone? What obstacles are there for transparency, such as copyright, company secrets, patents and personal data? What open science infrastructures are useful to you?
In terms of open access we will highlight the publication support offered by the library, and give a brief overview of the transition towards an open access publication system as set out in the Research Bill Knowledge in Collaboration.
The lecture is offered on two occasions:
- Wednesday 24 October at 10.15–11.00 in hall U1191, Campus Örebro
- Friday 26 October at 10.15–11.00 in hall C2409, Campus USÖ
The lecture is a part of the International Open Access Week 2018
