This year the Main Library will be redecorated and changed into a better and more creative place for you to study. We will therefore close the Main Library during parts of the summer. Some of our services will be available when we are closed.
During June 4-15, the work with the redecoration will take place in full, but we will be open Monday-Friday, at. 10.00-16.00. We apologize for any disturbing sounds and if we temporarily removed your favourite study site. You may not be able to access the books you need. Access to our books is limited due to relocation.
From June 4, you will not be able to book the library's group rooms. The library will be closed from Monday 18 June to Wednesday 22 August.
Go to oru.se/studyenvironment to read more about the project with improved study environment at the library.

Requesting stack items and items on open shelves
Unfortunately, during the period when the library is closed, requested items from stacks will not be processed.
For distance students living outside of Örebro, as well as employees at Region Örebro County, who can usually request books on the shelf of the open collection, requests will not be processed during the period when the library is closed.
If you are in queue for a book that is returned during the period when the library is closed, you will receive a message that it is available for pick up. The message shows that it can not be picked up until the library is open again, i.e. August 23th at the earliest. The book will be on hold until the date specified in the message.
